WES HOLCOMB
Living in this community for over 54 years God has allowed me to surround myself with like-minded people that are faithful stewards of God’s grace. You see when God presented the opportunity to open this business it came following what seemed to be a five year study on stewardship. Everywhere I turned and tuned I was not only listening but hearing about being on a mission of stewardship. The Words of truth allowed me to see that this life was about way more than the name on the back of my shirt. From all of that Steward Construction Services came to life with the simple mission statement of 1 Peter 4:10.

“Each of you should use whatever gift he has received to serve others as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

I graduated from Crosbyton High School in 1989. This was a nine month journey in Crosbyton, Texas that allowed me to develop many relationships that are still strong today. After high school graduation I moved back to Amarillo and graduated from West Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics in 1994.

After graduating from WTAMU I was a teacher and coach in the Amarillo Area for seven years. Each year consisted of a new group of young men that were taught to work as a team and represent the name on the front of their shirts.

Along the way I met one of the greatest blessings of my life, my wife Shelly. She has been a blessing to me and I don’t know where I would be without her. She is a true picture of God’s grace to me. In coach-speak, I way outkicked my coverage. Shelly and I have been blessed with two wonderful children that we are raising in the light of His grace.

After coaching I have spent the last 24 years in the construction business. The majority of that work has been in storm restoration. When people suffer a catastrophic loss to their homes it presents an opportunity to minister to them and come along side them through the restoration process. We hang our hat on walking them through the claims process and being their advocates. This is in and of itself our duty as stewards on their behalf. We work with clients on a personal level to get the job done professionally, efficiently, and mindfully.

As God has allowed our business to expand, we realized that we needed additional staff, both in the office and in the field, so that we could maintain our reputation for great personal attention and high quality projects. With the efficient and trustworthy staff that He has provided, we will always have a steward available to help clients.

I am thankful for the opportunity that God gives us daily to help other people and be a blessing to them. We look forward to working with you in the future and showing you that we are working for the name that is on the front and back of our shirts. STEWARD
